Table Talk offers a way to connect with others to grow together in friendship, fellowship and faith. This time spent together helps us to live out and practice being a genuine Christ follower.

Fellowship is an important part of being a Christian. Ecclesiastes says:
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If on falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no-one to help him up!"
It is in fellowship that we get to know one another, love one another, pray for one another, and support one another. Western Heritage Church offers a number of informal gatherings that make it easy for you to get acquainted with others, have fun, and make some good Christian friends.
At Western Heritage Church, we believe in the power of prayer. Our church family sees God at work to encourage and fill their lives with His grace and healing power.
Prayer is the way we communicate with our Heavenly Father. Although events in our lives may at times seem confusing, overwhelming, or even terrifying, the Bible assures us that God cares and that he hears us when we pray (1 John 5:14).
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

- the Bible is the very word of God and is to be our final authority in all matters of faith and life.
- in one God that exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died to save men from their sins. We believe that men are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.
- that baptism is the means by which people are to publicly profess their faith in Christ and identify themselves with his death, burial, and resurrection.
God loves everybody - we should too!
There's only One who has that job, and it isn't us!
It's the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
What good is the truth if it's not applied to real life?
A COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS
We rub elbows with each other daily - not just Sundays.
ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD AND EACH OTHER
Everybody ought to answer to somebody.
GROWING IN OUR FAITH
If it's cold and still, it might be dead.

What denomination is Western Heritage Church?
Although the Western Heritage Church is associated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches, it functions as an interdenominational fellowship gladly welcoming anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, been scripturally baptized by immersion, and accepts the basic teachings of Christianity into its membership.
Do I have to be a cowboy to attend Western Heritage Church?
Absolutely not! Our members come from every background and walk of life. If you would rather wear jeans than dress up; if you enjoy country or blue grass or gospel music; if you like rubbing elbows with plain, down-to-earth people; and if you want clear, simple sermons you can actually understand, you will love Western Heritage Church!
What happens at a Western Heritage Church worship service?
A worship service consists of songs from our Western Heritage Live band, an occasional testimony, and a 20 to 30 minute sermon that won't leave you scratching your head.
How should I dress at a cowboy church?
Some people wear boots and jeans; some wear hats or caps; some wear shorts, and a few may wear a suit or dress. All of these are appropriate. The bottom line: wear whatever is comfortable to you. There is no pretense here. In fact, whether you wear boots, jeans, shorts, ball cap, suit, or a dress, everyone is welcome the same. But the really neat thing is, no one will notice the difference! The most important thing at Western Heritage Church is that we make ourselves at home with God and each other.
How can I become a member of Western Heritage Church?
There are three ways to become a member: At Western Heritage Church, we do not require people to walk down in front of the church to request membership. Instead, we use "blue sheets." These are simple forms that you can fill out to request your membership. These forms may then be dropped in our offering churchhouse located on the back table of the worship center. The Pastor of Lay Pastor will contact you to confirm your information and address any questions you may have. Blue sheets are always available on the tables where you make your offerings.
By statement of faith. This means that you have accepted Christ and been biblically baptized by immersion (i.e. "dunked"), but are unable to acquire a letter of church membership from another church. In this case, we will simply accept your word that you are a baptized believer and add you to our membership.
By letter. This means that you have accepted Christ, been biblically baptized by immersion (i.e. "dunked"), and are a member of another church. In such a case, you may request that Western Heritage Church write to your previous church and request that they transfer your church membership to us.
By baptism. This means that you have accepted Christ as your savior and desire to be baptized. Because deciding to follow Christ is such a significant decision, Western Heritage Church does not believe that any person can make this choice for another. For this reason, Western Heritage Church does NOT accept infant baptism.
TrailRide to Membership Class: All new members get together with Pastor Jody and learn more about Western Heritage Church. The vision, mission, what we believe, who we are; but most importantly, make new friends and have a fellowship meal together.

I'm blessed and excited to work with the student, children's, and young adults ministries at WHC! I graduated from TCU in 2008 and spent years in social work before God called me to ministry. Currently I attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to obtain my Master of Divinity. I love the verse from Isaiah 41:10 that states, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Jesus Christ is alive and in control. My desire is for others to know Jesus personally and completely live for Him!
Youth Ministries: Danielle Hathcock
I’m so incredibly thankful and honored to have the opportunity to minister to the children and students of Western Heritage Church! I graduated from Blue Mountain College in Mississippi in 2015 and worked in youth ministry for about four years at my home church during that time. I am currently a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, working towards a Master of Divinity degree. One verse that I love comes from Galatians 2:20 and reads, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” My one desire is to be spent for the sake of the Gospel, doing whatever He wants, whenever He wants, and wherever He wants! He’s given me a story to tell, and I will not stop telling it until the whole world hears!
